Creating Self-Sustaining Consciousness

New Earth Coherence

Consciousness is the life behind all that we see – the plants you smell, the birds you watch and the starry sky you look up to at night. When you hear the word consciousness does this bring a heightened awareness of you? Do you feel yourself shifting focus? Are you thinking that you are thinking? Where I am about to bring you is something that is no longer hidden behind secret societies. These words are to bring an awareness into your consciousness so that you may take control of your life and begin to create what you have always wanted. Consciousness flows through every individual, every entity, and every form in the cosmos.

In life, you have the ability to grow and experience everything and anything in a number of infinite ways. The greatest blessing is that you get to control the joystick the whole time. This gives you a sense of excitement, right? It should. Since we control what we experience we have the power to change anything that is within our awareness. Let’s face it… Our current worldview is unsustainable, unreliable, and creates much destruction for ourselves and the environment. In this new paradigm of thinking, we will literally manifest a new way of living from a space of pure consciousness and awareness. This world is beautiful and self-sustaining though it’s up to us to create the same in our day through mastering our thoughts and emotions.

Self-sustaining intelligence

When we think of self-sustaining intelligence we tend to drift into the realm of robots and artificial intelligence; however, I am going to give a very different definition of self-sustaining intelligence in the view of world consciousness. By now you might have heard that your thoughts create your reality and this goes infinitely small (your subconscious mind) to the infinitely large (the universe or higher self). Your thoughts and emotions are connected and correlate to the way that you perceive and create in the world around you. By understanding how your thoughts and belief patterns create your reality we can begin to shift those and remove the beliefs that no longer serve your highest purpose or your path to the goals you’ve created. Being in balance with that which is around us is the first step of staying coherent and allowing this life to manifest itself.

Leaving Coherence

In order to maintain self-sustaining intelligence, we have to practice the art of energy and thought that is us. This is where bringing awareness to the self is so important. The HeartMath Institute of California has actually scientifically measured the energetic fields around the human body which is created from the heart and influenced by the mind. They have correlated these phenomena as the ‘field of coherence’, which all beings and life communicate through. When these fields are in harmonious vibrations which are controlled by our thoughts and emotions we can actually raise the vibrational frequency of the consciousness of the planet and ourselves! Now, this may seem outlandish but there are studies which prove this theory correct which you can read HERE. When our thoughts are not of love, joy, and happiness (yes even in rough situations) we actually start to create a disharmony in the world and within ourselves which influences EVERYTHING around us! It is quite phenomenal that science has now proven how these emotions and thoughts can influence our lives. Here are a couple ways you can see if you are out of coherence:

  1. You are feeling anxious
  2. You feel angry or resentful
  3. You are feeling doubtful
  4. You are out of control with your emotions

These are a few ways to tell if you are out of coherence or out of alignment with the heart field of coherence. These emotions can arise from the past, present, or future which is a direct result of your thoughts leaving the present moment. Now that we know what pulls us out of coherence let’s look at ways that bring us back into coherence and back to a balanced lifestyle.

Creating Coherence

We all experience an array of emotions which influence our daily lives. It’s up to us to support the ones that bring about self-sustaining thoughts and emotions. Some of you may feel like there is no way out and you may be right. Though there are ways if you choose which will align you once again into the heart field coherence. By becoming aware of your emotional standpoint at any given moment you can then begin to understand what thoughts are contributing to those emotions. As you begin to become aware you may release those thoughts by focusing your consciousness (your thoughts) on your heart and breathing in a rhythmic pattern. Here are 3 steps you can take to come back into coherence and a higher state of consciousness:

  1. Take 10 slow deep breaths focusing on releasing tension
  2. Become aware of your current thoughts. Answer these questions: How are they influencing your energy? Where do these thoughts stem from?
  3. Start remembering or envisioning something you find as joyful, as play or fun. Focus on these thoughts along with another 10 deep breaths focused on the heart or until you feel a sense of peace and tranquility wash over you.

Congratulations, you just came back into coherence!

Bringing ourselves into a harmonious state allows us to communicate more effectively, heal more efficiently, and enable us to be fully present in the moment. We are all connected through subtle energy fields which we can all attune to at any time if we choose. For this reason, it is imperative that we shift our awareness and live in a higher state of conscious creation. It doesn’t take long for someone to realize that they may not be where they wish to be in life. This was the case for the entrepreneur, author, and transformation coach, Pattee Brown. In a recent interview I conducted with Pattee she informed me that she was not always this person that everyone sees her as now. In her twenties, she was naive, shy, and overweight. This did not stop her desire to achieve more in life. Pattee ended up losing over 150 pounds and achieving much abundance in her life. Pattee knew she had to change and what you will find is that she revealed a simple three step process that anyone can follow to achieve radical transformation in their lives. We’ll dive into how you can identify, research, and construct an action plan for your transformation.

How You Transform

You may not realize but you are always transforming. From the time you were born to where you are now you have experienced many different variations of transformation. As human beings, we tend to attach ourselves to things that bring comfort and joy and this may not always be a healthy option for us. If we do not take control of our situations and our emotional wellbeing then things tend to get out of hand. True transformation comes from Identifying the problem so you can start taking proactive steps to overcoming. Here are the three steps to achieving that.

1) Identify The Problem

Are you overweight as Pattee once was? Do you have a dis-ease hidden within the body? Are you not progressing fast enough in your personal development? The first step to creating massive transformation is acknowledging that you are unhappy with a result in your life. Whatever that result may write it down so you can see it, hear it, and feel it. Once you have written things down you are unsatisfied with move on to the next step.

2) Ask Why

Once you identify an issue it’s time to start digging. Look into why you may be overweight – have you been eating too much? Are you eating the right foods? If you have a disease look back to when you were healthy, just before you were sick. What changes occur? Did you have emotional trauma? Did you eat certain foods? Ask yourself the right questions. You have to create a situation where you can start with a clean slate. The process of asking why will help shock your subconscious and get you out of the same space where the problem arrived. This is where healing can begin.

3) Take Action

This is where the magic happens and we hear this time and time again. Take action! Project yourself where you want to be and ask yourself what you need to do right now to begin this transformation. Write down all the ways you can overcome your certain situation. Your brain is creative, expressive, and responsive just like any muscle you must use it to your advantage! Once you start asking yourself ways to overcome and heal a certain situation you will start finding those ways. It’s now up to you to take massive action on these steps and begin your transformation.

Congratulations, you are now on your way to creating massive transformation in your life! Use this method in all areas of your life in health, wealth, love, and relationships – you’ll be glad you did. Morning rituals can really help you get rolling even on the most difficult of days. How you start off your day can have a direct affect on how the rest of your day goes. If you start yours off really strong, you can have a very solid day. If you start if off at a slow pace and don’t have a clear idea of what you need to do for the day, the whole day tends to continue on that way and you’re still left with a huge to-do list by the end of it.

To help kick off your day right, try to handle some of the key things that you want to have done first. One thing you could do is to write out your to-do list at the end of each day, for the following day. Any key things you need to do in the morning, put those down first. Then, when you awake the next day, look over that list. You might find that your list became smaller because things happened overnight to help eliminate some of it. Maybe the universe helped you out or you had something come to you in a dream that gave you ideas as to how to get these things on your list done quicker and more efficiently the next day.

When you start your day, do something active, something to engage. If working out is important to you and you don’t want to miss the opportunity to do that, get it done first thing in the morning and you’ll know it’s out of the way. It will also raise your energy level for the rest of the day. Having some kind of physical activity that you also pair with some kind of mental challenge sets a clock for you for the day and it will go by much quicker. Your more difficult tasks should be the first ones on your list that you want to accomplish, because if you do those first, it prevents you from procrastinating. The things that you don’t necessarily enjoy doing or seem redundant, do those things first and you’ll find by half a day’s time, you’ve completed some of the key things you needed done.

Another great thing you can do is to ready your goals and what you want to accomplish in both the short and long term. This will help to push and remind you of the direction that your moving. Listening or watching something motivational is also helpful to do. There is a lot of great content out there that can help you learn new techniques that you can apply to your day that can raise your level of happiness and success in every area of your life.

How Little Wins Can Slow Us Down

Success can actually hurt us at times and slow us down. It can cause us to limit ourselves if we’re so used to winning and getting what we want that we end up not taking the bigger risks because we don’t want to know the consequences should we fail. When we have a problem, we aren’t going to end up knowing how to overcome it. We get stuck in this comfort zone. It happens to everyone from the greatest of great to those who might just be struggling to get through their day.

It’s important that when you’re on a winning streak, that you don’t forget to keep pushing yourself in making those goals bigger. Failure should be perceived as something that’s going to happen every once in a while. It should be something that puts you in a new direction in your life and causes growth for you. If you keep winning, sure, it’s great for your ego, in getting what you want and helping you to feel good, but you’re not necessarily growing. It’s important in your life to continue to learn and grow. You want to be more tomorrow than you were today. That doesn’t mean that you keep doing the same things. It means that you make some adjustments and take some leaps and risks. Don’t get stuck in the rut of just hanging on to things you know how to do well and being scared to try new things. It’s perfectly okay if you try something but have no idea what you’re doing. Put yourself out there and experience all that life has to offer.

I hope this helps you to think about the goals that you have and see how you can make them a little bit larger, or maybe twice or ten times as large. It doesn’t mean you have to actively do something right now, but at least take a look at your goals and think about what steps it will take to reach them. Don’t cut yourself short. This is your life to live and your ability to express everything that you are. Every day offers you new opportunities, so seize them. Don’t let all the little things you’re good at prevent you from doing bigger things that call for you and that really you want to do. Make sure the little things are stepping stones and not roadblocks that prevent you from going after the larger picture because you are enough, you are capable and you can have everything you want out of life. You’re worth it!

The Fear Monster

Fear can either drive you to do something or prevent you from doing something big. Sometimes it can be good as it serves you and keeps you alive by protecting you in a lot of instances. The truth is that most of us have been scared at times and we let it take control of us. We might often find that we’re surrounding ourselves around people who are fear based which can cause us to live in that same mentality when it comes to doing things because we’re afraid of what the outcomes might be.

Maybe you had a situation in your life that didn’t have the success you’d hoped for, you felt like everything was working against you and you found yourself playing the victim role. It could be that maybe you were just scared of what other people were saying or what they might think of you. Worrying about other people’s opinions can hold you back from doing a lot of things. It can cause you to find ways to procrastinate, slow you down and keep you from finding the next steps to take. In a nutshell, you’ll self sabotage.

If you can learn to remove the fear of what anyone else might think and turn your focus on achieving what you set out to do and seeing success at the end of the tunnel, you’ll have a better chance of staying positive and finding those results. Ask yourself what things you might not be doing because you’re scared. Write them down because when you’re in a state of fear, you’re not empowered. Figure out what they are and challenge them, and if you can do that, it will help you to grow. Use that fear to help you get out there and attack those things and show yourself that you’re capable of doing anything as when you overcome those fears, you’ll have so much more confidence. When you can feel passionate, comfortable and excited about things, it’s amazing the things you can accomplish. Don’t be afraid to put yourself out there.

Empowering & Disempowering Beliefs

Our beliefs are what make us and at the end of the day we have to make a conscious decision to have beliefs and not let our beliefs have us. Too often we are taught things when we’re growing up that just don’t serve us as adults and we try to carry those things along. It’s really difficult to uncover what those things are. At first you can probably determine a few of them because you realize that things are happening to you and you’re feeling hurt and not understanding why they are happening. When something is consistently happening to you, it’s because you have a belief about it, whether it’s good or bad.

There are empowering beliefs that remind us of things that we are good at and succeed in. But, we also have disempowering beliefs, or limiting beliefs, that might have protected or served us when we were children, but no longer do. We also have some that come along in our adult lives that can hurt us. One example might be that you feel that in order to have a good marriage, you have to sacrifice what you want to please your spouse. So many of us often find ourselves spending time trying to please the people around us and not focusing on what we want, thinking that if we do that, it will make things better for everyone. This isn’t really the case though, as when you’re focusing so much on others and letting go of yourself and not doing what’s true to you, you’re harming yourself and your relationships in the long run because this can often create resentment. A good marriage really should mean that both parties get everything that they want. Seeing one another happy can inspire each other to do more for their partner and relationship.

Take the time today to try to write down one limiting belief you have and then rewrite it to something better and more positive. A way that you can try to connect and see what limiting beliefs you might have, is to think of times you find yourself starting off with words like “I always”, “it never” or “it rarely” this or that. Look out for the ones that hold you back. Listen to the words you speak, as right after those timeline words is going to be one of your beliefs. Trust the universe and know that things don’t always fall apart and more often than not, do work out. What are you doing to feel charged and excited about your day? What is the belief that’s holding you back from reaching a new level of bliss?

Having An Abundant Mindset

Do you have an abundant mindset? Are you telling yourself that you CAN do things more or that you CAN’T? It’s very easy to get stuck in a pattern of saying that you can’t do this or that. You might find yourself not actually verbalizing it, but simply saying it in your head. When you get stuck in your head with these negative thoughts, it’s hard for someone to respond with positivity to negate your thoughts because you didn’t verbalize them. You might, for example, think that you’re a bad singer and if you said it out loud, you might find people actually telling you that they think you’re a great singer.

Below are some things to do to help you have a more abundant mindset.

  1. Limit the number of times that you’re saying “I  can’t.” You’re holding yourself back just by saying it.
  2. Question what your assumptions are. We all have many beliefs that we’ve developed from a young age. But, if you assume something won’t work or that something is a certain way, it may not be true. When you think about how much you’ve changed over the course of your lifetime, making assumptions based on a belief or experience you had in the past is really only going to serve to hold you back. It’s ok to use data from the past, but test it out first, don’t just automatically believe it.
  3. Keep expanding your knowledge. Make your own curriculum for life. Many of us go to college and when we finish, we think we’re done learning. That couldn’t be further from the truth. The reality is that everything that happens in life has a lesson to be learned from it. Even times when you’re triggered by something that has upset you, that has meaning to it. You should look within to find out why it’s upsetting you so much. When you’re not in a state of flow, either you’re doing the wrong thing or giving attention to the wrong thing. These things can really hold you back from having an abundant lifestyle because you’re becoming triggered and in turn, feeling like you’re a victim instead of a creator. You’re here to create what you choose for your life, walk your own path and be true to yourself.
  4. Enjoy the journey. Life it so amazing! We get so attached to the outcomes when life is really just about figuring out the journey and the lessons held within it. If you can do that, it’s much easier not to focus on the outcomes and instead do things with enjoyment. If you’re too set on getting one outcome out of infinite possibilities, you really hold yourself back. All the energy out in the universe is there to serve you.

Think about how you can reframe things. When you get stuck in an area where you feel it’s an awful situation, think about how you can look at it from an observer’s viewpoint. Think about how you can see one, two or even three benefits and not focus on the one or two things that might make it not a great situation. If you focus on what the benefits and positive things are and what you can learn from it, life starts to become magical.

If you ask yourself a few questions, it can really define who you are and if you’re being that person, everything just seems to flow so much better. You might even end up getting things that you never even knew that you wanted.

Some  possible great questions to ask yourself are:

  1. What do you want out of life?
  2. What do you want to be remembered for and what legacy do you want to leave behind?
  3. How do you want to life your life each day?

Come up with whatever questions you feel best center around things you’re actively doing but could be doing a better job at. We are only limited by what we think we can do. So, take a few minutes each day to dream and see what you can do more. Come up with your own questions and answers to them and live by them and watch how much better your life becomes.

How To Get A Raise

Many people would love to get a raise but aren’t sure how to accomplish that. Who wouldn’t like to make more money, right?

Here are some tips to help you get a raise:

  1. Do more than expected and go the extra mile. It’s important to make a good impression upon your superiors by always showing up to work on time and doing the job expected of you. But, when you go above and beyond, for example like going into work early or staying late or taking on extra work or helping others with theirs, you show that you’re appreciative of your job and you want to make a difference. By doing things like these, someone will often take notice and feel that you are more valuable to the company. When you go the extra mile, your employer might think of you as someone they feel they can count on which can lead to more opportunity and responsibility as a result.
  2. Improve your relationships with the people around you. Make the effort to do this with your coworkers and managers, etc. When you make what’s important to them important to you, people want you around. So listen to the details that people are providing you. Whatever they might talk to you about that they feel is important in relation to their lives, take the time to listen and be supportive. People will appreciate when you engage in conversations with topics that are meaningful to them. As a result, you’ll find that your relationships will improve dramatically. If you own your own business, do this with your customers and you’ll often find them continue to return and bring more business to you as they appreciate you taking the time to pay attention to the details.
  3. Ask for feedback. Again, do this with your coworkers, managers, customers etc. and ask how they think you can contribute more, what they like about what you’re already doing and what areas could use a little bit of improvement. If you do this on a continual basis, without overdoing it, it will help to improve your relationships with those people and you’re automatically going to attract a different attitude from them. Maybe some of them are people who no one else likes to work with, but because you’ve invested in yourself in asking for feedback, you might be that person who gets a different result than everyone else and a stronger working relationship than the others might have with them.
  4. Show up early, even if it’s just by a couple minutes, and with a positive attitude. It doesn’t matter what’s happening at home, what happened yesterday at work or what you think might happen in a meeting that day, start your day off with the right attitude and you set the right tone for the day ahead. The people who show that they’re positive and passionate about what they do are more likely to stand out and be looked upon as someone that can be trusted and is worthy of a better position which also comes along with a higher salary or hourly rate. Doing this doesn’t necessarily mean you can do everything, but more so that you know that everything can be done and are willing to help find a way.
  5. Improve or automate a process and create more value. Make it measurable like coming up with ways to drive more revenue, helping something to be produced faster or cutting costs somewhere. Doing even the smallest of things can often help make a large, impactful difference. Let your light shine and make sure you show how you’re creating more value to your superiors to help them see that you deserve a piece of the results.

The Spirit of Opulence and the Importance Of Living Your Truth

We often get derailed from speaking our truth by things like the voices in our head or maybe the people around us who hold us back. The Spirit of Opulence by Judge Thomas Troward is a book that has a lot of powerful information in it when it comes to speaking your truth, walking your path and living an authentic life.

When you read this book, here are some things you might take away from it that can help you to live YOUR true authentic life.

  1. When we don’t speak our truth, we actually restrict ourselves from being all that we can be. When we get that moment of fear that someone is going to judge us or hold us back, we are restricting ourselves from showing who we truly are.
  2. Often at times, we have to sacrifice and give things up. Many of us were taught at a young age that we have to sacrifice hard work as that’s what creates success. But if you’re looking at it as sacrifice and hard work, it’s going to be just that. But if you’re actually walking your path and doing what calls for you, what’s true to you and what you feel is important, all you have to do is look at it as a source of joy. For example if you’re working hard to reach a goal and you’re looking at it as you’re working too hard or giving up your time, then you’re going to feel that way. Some of us have had things taught to us with certain religions that we have to sacrifice for everyone else, and that’s not necessarily true. We do want to be able give with open arms and open hearts to people, but we can only give what we have.
  3. If you’re not walking your path, speaking your truth and showing your light, then you’re not living the life meant for you. This is YOUR life and your chance to be everything you want to be. You have a mission, a calling. There’s something that reaches out to you that’s important and it’s not going to be the same for everyone. We are all very unique and each of us has a different calling. The key is to support others with whatever their calling is and to be supportive and not bring them down or tell them how you think they should be. Don’t judge others, simply be supportive so they’re comfortable in speaking their truth. As you do that, you’ll feel more and more comfortable doing it yourself.

Having that authenticity, what you really want to share with the world, is so important. What ends up happening when you aren’t authentic, let those negative voices in your head creep in or let the people around you compromise your truth, it steers you off your path. If it doesn’t speak to you and isn’t part of your path, don’t follow it. Don’t reroute yourself because of limiting beliefs or other people, because you’re trying to get somewhere in life and every time you compromise yourself, it’s going to hold you back, take you off your path and you might find it difficult to ever get back on it. Be careful who you listen to. You have your truth and you need to speak it and as you do this, the right people will show up in your life who will be a source of support for you. Speak your truth and share your bliss with others and watch all the wonderful things that start to show up in your life as a result. LIVE YOUR TRUTH!

Got Big Ideas

If you have big ideas, there are so many reasons why you have to pursue them! A lot of times what will happen when we have a big idea, is that we’ll share it with someone that’s in our inner circle and they might be negative and tell us that our idea isn’t a good one and make us question everything. They’re not necessarily trying to tear us or our idea down so much as they’re trying to protect us in a way they would for themselves. Many of us have learned that big ideas are too scary to chase and that if we fail, then we get hurt or something else bad comes from it. A lot of people get stuck in this mentality, but the truth of the matter is that big ideas are what make us grow. Some people get these big ideas and feel compelled to go and chase after them and work hard to bring them to reality.

Here are some things that you can do for your big idea(s):

  1. Recognize that big ideas have small beginnings. There’s always that one first step you have to take. Think of it in relation to a GPS. When you’re driving, it doesn’t give you the full directions up front. It gives you the first step and so forth that you need to take until you reach your destination. So when you’re in pursuit of a big idea, don’t expect to know the whole process and what it’s going to take. A reason why many of us are scared of having these big ideas, is that we see what how far it is from where we’re at and we get caught up in this idea that we can’t get there because it’s so far away. Realize that only the first few steps are going to be revealed to you and until you take those steps, the next ones aren’t going to be revealed. Think of it like, for instance, if you have children and you give them an opportunity and they don’t seize it, you’re not going to keep giving opportunities to them. Or if you’re a CEO of a company, you don’t give the big jobs to the person who didn’t get the job done last time. The universe works the same way. You’re going to get ideas sporadically, and it’s really important to write them down along with the first few steps needed to begin. Don’t be fearful that you’re going to fail, as failure is part of the process. The universe will not continue to deliver you great ideas if you don’t take advantage of them as they come. Make the effort to take one small step towards your big idea every day. You don’t have to accomplish it all at once. Enjoy the journey and have fun with it!
  2. Be careful with who you choose to share your ideas with. Not everyone is going to support them and you don’t want that to detour you. The woman who started SPANX, who’s a billionaire now, had a BIG idea and chose not to share it with anyone. She knew that if she did, people would tell her that it wasn’t possible. Even some manufacturing companies told her it wasn’t. We’ve probably all experienced this at some point in our lives. Just be careful with who you choose to share anything with as they can bring your excitement down. This is a great reason why it’s important to have a positive network of people or even a coach. Who do you have that’s in your life that’s going to have your back and be in your corner? You’re capable of doing a lot on your own, but if people are constantly telling you that you can’t do it, it’s infectious. You might sadly start to believe them. If someone isn’t supporting you, then discontinue sharing with them as it’s only going to serve to slow you down. Find a mentor, someone that has been doing it successfully and can be supportive of you. Having a great life or business coach (or both) can be so beneficial. It’s important to find that supportive network who are not only there for you, but you for them.
